I attended Xavier University of New Orleans and lived in Louisiana for approximately 10 years, returned to Chicago in 1980. In the mid-80’s I worked for the State of Illinois, University of Illinois College of Medicine where I began my career in technology. Technology became my passion and my thirst for learning and then teaching became unquenchable! After more than 30 years in the field, I retired with loads of certifications as technology is always changing. I am still a child of the Movement so have spent much time in community work, most recently serving the Village of Hazel Crest as Community Relations Commissioner and then Senior Advocate Commissioner. We still belong to the same church where I served as the Minister of Technology, sang in the choir and worked in various other committees and organizations within the church. I now live in Louisiana and enjoy retirement here.
